I wear these shoes 99% of the time. They fit perfectly and are the most comfortable shoes of all the New Balance I've tried. I had a job where I was literally on my feet 12 hours a day, and my feet never hurt. Excellent support, and they wear well. I usually end up replacing them because they get too dirty.

This was my second pair of these shoes, so I was really disappointed when the workmanship was shoddy. The upper of the left shoe was cut differently from the right. Just a little, but the different cut was of course stitched differently and the result was an incredibly uncomfortable shoe.

My feet are quite wide in front but my heel is narrow. These are the only shoes I've found that offer support and actually fit. Usually, I wear an 8-1/2 or 9 but in these, I get a 9-1/2. Wish they came with better traction for running on wet grass. These are nice-looking shoes - not all grey and shiny.

I was looking for a replacement for my old New Balance 606s to fit my narrow feet. These fit the bill for a better price but when all is said and done I still prefer the New Balance Cross Trainer. The primary purpose for these is walking our dog--significant distance when it isn't too hot. They're working out nicely.

I love this shoe. It's my reliable dog-walking shoe and I'm out at least twice everyday with my Lab and Bassett Hound, so I need a dependable shoe. I especially love these in the winter because of the good traction they give me. I do order these a half size bigger than my normal shoe size due to the extra padding they have.

The shoe has a good fit. I have very wide feet and my feet are tender from chemotherapy - I am able to put this shoe on and walk for hours! New Balance makes an excellent shoe for any level of athlete.

It is a nicely designed shoe on the outside, but it is very hard to the foot on the inside. When you put it on, there is very little cushioning- it sure didn't feel like "cloud nine comfort". This is the first disappointment I have had with New Balance. I have heel spurs and I love their sneakers usually. Dont know what happened to this one though.

I ordered a couple pair of these in my usual size and tried them on and didn't like how they felt at all. I returned them and ordered a different brand (Propet)in the same size and they are the most comfortable shoe I've had for a long time. The sizing is totally different in this shoe, and I can't recommend buying it...the other shoe I bought was a lot cheaper, and way more comfortable to me.

I am on my third pair of this shoe, over many years. The shoe lasts - I replace them when they look ragged. I have a high volume, or wide, foot and this shoe fits me well (I wear a EE). I use it at the gym -- elliptical, bike, treadmill, weights -- as well as a walking shoe when I travel. I only wish it came in more colors for casual wear. New Balance is great for people with wide feet.

bought for daily walking, not a good walking shoe,bought husband "quick grip" now thats a good walking shoe,he loves them. The squared toe seems to squish the toes making the whole shoe uncomfortable. If I were to go up another size then the heel would slip and they'd be too wide. Don't waste your money.

I use it as a walking shoe, and for support, as I have had surgery on both feet. It's comfotable to get into, and to stay in for hours at a time. It provides excellent support, and would be my everyday shoe, if employers would allow it. The laces are the only drawback, as they tend to come undone often, when the shoes are worn for long periods of time.

I order this shoe regularly and wear them every day. They are comfortable and durable and even though I have a narrow foot, I am still able to wear the 2A size. Would be nice if they were made in the 4A size. I like the way they look.

The last two pairs squeak when I walk, so hope that will not continue but like the shoe anyway.

I have used this shoe for work (nursing)for years, as well as every day. However, after a while, it feels as though my socks are bunched up at the heel. I think its the insole that feels "bunchy". This becomes annoying after a while and I buy a new pair. I suspect the insole could be removed and changed but I haven't done that. Up until that time, the shoe is extremely comfortable.

Several years ago I developed pain in the metatarsal area of my left foot due to a morton's neuroma. I finally saw an orthotist who advised me to buy New Balance with a removeable inner sole and made me a pair of custom orthotics. The orthotis are somewhat bulky, but the shoes accommodate the orthotics very well. The combination of the shoes and the orthotics have allowed me to walk long distances painfree for the last eight years. One time I couldn't find this same style so I bought a different style of New Balance. The orthotics did not fit quite the same inside and I developed plantar fascitis. So I have stuck with the same style for the last 8 years. I've probably owned 16 pairs.

I'm a physical therapist and I recommend them to my patients who need to wear orthotics or custom ankle foot orthoses or if they just need a wider toe box to accomodate toe deformities.
