I have been wearing nothing but New Balance for years. My doctor recomended them to me since I was always on my feet, Nurse. Recently had achilles heal rupture and repair so support is very important. They are a little lower in the heal than I am use to but I have gotten use to that quickly. felt like a glove for the feet when I put them on.

I have an #811 in white & have wanted a black pair for when white isn't the shoe to wear I was happy to find it in you catalog. This shoe fits my wide foot & high arch. Haven't worn the black pair as yet but am sure it will serve my use. I can say nothing bad about this style of walking shoe.

This shoe is comfortable for me. I have an ankle that turns in and it helps to keep it in place. I work in it, shop in it. Wear it on a daily basis. The color makes it look more casual then a gym shoe.

I have an older pair of these 811 shoes and in the W width they were slightly too wide so ordered in the M width and with socks on couldn't get my foot into the shoe so returned for the w width and hopefully they will be satisfactory. Was very disappointed in New Balance sizing.

I have all kinds of foot issues with bunions, hammertoes and sweat. These shoes seem to accomadate my problems. Because I have also lost collagen on my feet bottoms as I have aged, I still to add extra cushioning. The shoes absorb shock but I need extra cushioning.

I own a beige pair and black pair. I recently made this purchase (white pair) for my mom. She's a nurse and is on her feet all day. She borrowed my beige pair while visiting and loved the look, feel and fit. She asked where I got them and I ordered her a pair the next day. This is a good quality shoe and its simple design makes it a good shoe to go with everything. I called her recently to ask her about her new shoes and she said they are great.

I love the look and feel of the shoe, and if I didn't have such a high instep, I could wear it for 10-12 hrs. a day. As it is, though, I have comfortable worn these for 8 hrs. The best part is I do not pronate, so I walk better, and my back is straighter. Great shoe. Would definitely recommend to anyone who has a tendency to roll on their feet.

This shoe is does not have enough support or cushioning for me. If you are someone who wears running shoes this shoe will dissapoint. Overall it would not be good for someone who needs alot of support or cushioning.

I have had foot problems for years and most recently had foot surgery to remove a bone chip. This walking shoe fits well and allows me to walk comfortably without any pain. The shoe fits well, cushions my steps and provides needed ankle support. An excellent product!

I have always bought shoes at a department store in wide width. They are never wide enough. I lived in my houseshoes. I would even wear them to town at times. I am diabetic, and my feet swell. I bought these shoes, and I put them on everyday, and walk in the woods, walk through the stores, and my feet feel great. I wear them all day. They are a blessing to me.

I love these shoes. I ordered an 8.5EEEE, and *finally* got a shoe that fits me properly. The site warned me that they run a half size small. I now have both the black and the white, and wish I could get this shoe in other colors. They are comfortable and stay tied. Only bad thing is the tread pattern is difficult to clean after I've gone through mud.

I wear a AAAA shoe, so this is one of the few shoes that comes in this narrow width and fits me well. It is good for walking, and I have worn out several of these over the years.

My order from Mason's comes on time & promptly. I wear orthotics, so it's hard to find a shoe that will compensate for them, but these are the Best I have found, they are deep enough to fit them & my foot to be comfortable for the day. I wear them to work, & I'm a nurse. My trouble is a narrow foot, & the orthotic is more wide so finding shoes for me is not so easy. I adjust by wearing a thicker sock, & it works! I like this shoe for workouts at the gym including walking on the treadmill. The only thing I have a problem with is that the tongue regularly slips to the outside - on both shoes. Other than that, it's a fine shoe.

The only thing negative that I notice is that if I have them on too long, my feet burn on the bottom. I don't know if I am allergic to the fabric or if it is because I wear thick socks with the shoes. I need to find a 4 A to have a shoe fit my narrow feet.

4A w/removable insoles is hard to find in casual walking shoes. This is O.K. and will accomodate Rx insoles but is kind of clunky looking for anyone who is looking for style over comfort. People needing size 4A have little choice out in the retail shoe world.
