I HAVE EXTREMELY PAINFUL AND BAD FEET. FINDING SHOES THAT FIT, ARE COMFORTABLE, AND YET ARE LIGHTWEIGHT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. THAT IS, UNTIL I BOUGHT THESE SHOES. I PUT THEM ON, RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX, AND WAHLA! PERFECT SHOES AND NO PAIN WHEN I WALK.

I wear these while volunteering at the hospital, and they have proven pretty comfortable for at least four hours. After that, the feet are getting rather weary on the hard surface. I got them in a 10 and a half, and that is wonderful, as there are not too many choices. In that size, not much looks cute, in style or trendy - they just fit.

I wear a size 11 and have a narrow foot and high arch with heavy underpronation. I need a cushioned sole. It is difficult to find styles that fit these criteria. New Balance's 576 looked like it would. The shoes look two sizes larger than my foot (11A), BUT fit fine. They are just REALLY BULKY. Thank goodness I bought black; I think white ones would be mistaken for boats. This may not be such a problem for men, but most women prefer a more "dainty" shoe.

I have a very narrow feet and new balance is the only shoe that gives me a great fit everytime. I've tryed other bands but always come back to my true blue new balance. Please never ever stop carrying these walking shoes in the larger/narrow sizes. Thank you for asking how I feel.

I have hammertoes and was looking for a shoe with a high, square toe box. I did order larger and wider than my previous shoes, but this seems to work well. One complaint is that the shoes squeak when I am walking.

i wear this product every night to work. i am on my feet 9 hours a night(overnight recieving) and my feet have not hurt. i have promblems with most shoes but this are very comfortable even after 9 hours.

I like the fact that its all leather. Great feature. I like how it holds up. I like how they wipe clean easy. I like how they help my back so when I go walking less stress on back.
I don't like the fact that its all white and did not come in other colors.

I use this shoe on a daily basis. Had foot surgery and could not find a comfortable shoe until I tried this. Velcro straps can be adjusted to fit comfort. I walk all day up and down my home stairs and really love the feel. No more tired hurting feet for me!

I wear this shoe when working on a part-time job that requires standing and walking for the full shift. Before wearing this shoe, my lower back ached and the soles of my feet were sore the day after. It may not be the best looking shoe, however, it did serve the purpose of comfort.

I work as a grocery clerk and am on my feet 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. So I need a comfortable shoe that absorbs shock, is durable and flexible. I also have wide feet and it is not always easy finding wide width shoes in a department store. I first ordered this same shoe over a year ago and absolutely loved it. It is very comfortable and makes me feel like I am walking on air, so those long days on my feet don't make me as tired as other shoes I have tried in the past. I usually replace my work shoes every year, so this year I had to go to the same shoe that I knew was tried and true. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who is on their feet a lot, whether it is for work or recreation.

This New Balance doesn't fit as well as the old 575 but still comfortable enough to wear. I still like the style. The only problem is it a little narrower than the 575 style.

These shoes are wide enough for my wide feet, but there isn't much arch support. There is room for my orthotic. They need to be a bit "cushier."

I have bought this brand several times and they usually last about a year and a half. At that time the sole of the shoe occasionally separates from the shoe starting at the top of the shoe.

I purchased this to replace a previous pair of the exact same style -- a pair which was still comfortable and in good walking condition, just rather shabby-looking from many years of frequent wear. This is the Platonic ideal of a walking shoe -- incredibly comfortable, durable, sturdy, supportive, easy to put on and take off thanks to the Velcro closures. I look forward to many years of use from this new pair, and when they eventually look worn-out, I will replace them with another pair of the same style. A fantastic buy!
