I was amazed how light this shoe. You can wear any weight of sock with it and no presure on any part of the foot. The shoe is so soft. I am going to be buying more and have it for a every day shoe and different colors for good. I have found that the propet shoe are very good on the legs and back. I HAVE WASHED THEM ONCE AND THEY HELD UP WELL. I ASSUME YOUR SIZES RUN A 1/2 SIZE SMALLER THAN WHAT I AM USED TO BECAUSE I CANNOT WEAR THEM WITH EVEN THE THINNEST SOCK. I AM HOWEVER PLEASED WITH THE SHOE IN TOTAL. Use the shoes daily, almost, until I need to "dress up". They are light, soft and comfortable, which is great. The only thing I would change is the
white sole and laces. They are just a bit conspicuous, but maybe I feel that way because I'm a senior, senior citizen.

Shoes felt fine when I first tried them on. An hour into siteseeing in Washinton, D.C. I knew I was in trouble. The back comes up too high and it was digging into my ankle. Unfortunately, I lost one of my backup shoes and had to hobble around with a very painful blister. I was very disappointed given all the positive reviews here. I wish I could send them back!

I walk 2-4 miles daily on pavement. This shoe is fantastic for support, and comfort. Since it can be laundered it helps prevent odor and athlete's foot problems. This is the first time I have purchased a color other than white, but I have owned and washed numerous white pairs and they look good as new after washing!

I normally wear a 7.5 D. When I first tried these on, I found them to be 1/2 size to long & a bit narrow. So I exchanged them for a 7 EE & they fit perfectly as long as I don't wear them with a thick athletic sock. It took me 2 years to find what I was looking for. I wanted a light weight, casual summer shoe that I could walk in comfortably. I wanted something a little more stylish than a sneaker & less "chunky" looking than a traditional walking shoe. I also needed to be able to insert my full length sport orthotics. Usually my teenage daughter doesn't approve of my style choices, so when she said these looked "OK" I knew I had a winner. The fact that they are 100% machine washable is a bonus. I am very happy with this shoe!

this is the only walking shoe I could find that is fairly narrow. It is not as described a 4A but It fits when I draw the laces tightly. Have worn this shoe for years and replace them when the heel is worn down. I work out on our nordic track and treadmill daily and walk 1-3 miles often.

I can see why these shoes are popular enough to be backordered. These shoes are quite comfotable and are great for long walks. They are also lightweight. The laces that came with the shoes actually stay tied; they are not the cheap nylon kind that come with many pairs of athletic shoes. I really like these shoes and would definitely buy another pair in the future.

The insole of the shoe could use a more cushioned feel. Wearing extra thick socks doesn't seem to correct problem. Maybe an additional liner may help. Otherwise satisfied with shoe. I would recommend to a friend but I would make note of the basic insole.

Because of other comments I'd read, I ordered EE width (I'm a wide D in most athletic shoes) and I still found the forefoot two narrow and the instep too shallow. Even if this shoe had fit, it wouldn't have served my purposes as a walking shoe because of the lack of any cushioning under the ball of the foot. Add to that the cheap "tennis shoe" flat cotton laces through unreinforced holes in the leather, and I was so disappointed that I'm unlikely to try Propet again.

I have a very narrow long foot. The first pair I bought was a 2A and this one is 4A and it feels wider than the 2A. Both are very comfortable however do not provide a lot of stability so I wear another pair that gives me more stability for walking or gardening.

These are the best fitting tennis shoes I've ever owned. I put them on as soon as they arrived and was able to wear them comfortably all day. I have a EEE foot, have had several surgeries to correct problem feet and usually only wear birkenstocks, but these are truely the best tennis shoes I've ever owned. I wish I'd discovered them years ago; it would have made the twenty years of daily physical training in the US Army bearable.

I walk most of the day I work. I have a previous pair and they fit good, but they have a loose sole on the tip of the left toe. They came this way. I don't appreciate being sent inferior products. I work on my feet, as well as walk for exercise, and this good fit has eliminated pains I was experiencing. I don't know how durable they will be, but I will buy more just for the comfort.
